The room was clean and equipped with all the necessities. I particularly appreciated the flat-screen TV and the presence of an electric kettle, which made it easy to enjoy a cozy cup of tea after a long day. The host, Jason, was very welcoming upon arrival, even allowing me to park in his driveway, which added a nice personal touch. While the continental breakfast was delightful, featuring fresh fruit and the enticing aroma of bacon butties, I did note that the coffee could have been more than just instant. It’s worth mentioning that there are shops nearby for those who might want to explore local options. For two nights, the room provided a comfortable bed, ample towels, and superfast WiFi, all at what I found to be reasonable pricing. There is potential for the garden area to enhance guest experience further. If you’re looking for an affordable yet pleasant stay, I would certainly recommend Formby.
